Kat Buxton, NCIDQ, ASID

Owner & Principal

Kat brings over a decade of experience working across the Chicago area, San Francisco and now Boulder, where she’s put down roots. She believes that every home is a sacred space with the potential to inspire, calm, and nurture the soul. At previous firms Kat has led and designed projects featured in Design Chicago, Modern Luxury Interiors, and Great Lakes by Design, and has completed projects locally and nationally. Over the past decade, her project experience spans a wide-ranging body of work, from high-end residential to multifamily real estate.

In addition to her unique design style, Kat brings a wealth of technical experience to every project. By mentoring her staff and supporting her community she has created a vibrant studio that centers around inspiration and integrity that reflects in every project.

When she’s not at the studio you can find Kat hitting up a local farmer’s market and spending time with her husband and tenacious 3-year-old (and of course, throwing the ball for Greta).

Greta

Director of Snacks

Greta is a six (going on two) year old Malinois mix. She’s never met a treat she didn’t like and has boundless energy; much of which she has no idea what to do with. You are sure to be greeted with a toy from Greta upon visiting the studio, and she’ll love you forever if you throw it… even more so if you’ve brought snacks.
